Use Your Phone And Get Paid To Text
Getting paid to text while sitting at home seems insane. Read on to find out how this simple side hustle works.
When it comes to starting a side hustle to earn a bit of extra money, we always tend to go for the easy route.
We take an evening job or do small jobs on the weekend. This could be something like gardening or helping old people do their shopping.
Did you know, though, that you can actually sit in your own house and get paid to text?
Some of my posts may contain affiliate links. This means if you purchase something after clicking one of the links I may receive a commission at no extra cost to yourself—many thanks for the continued support.
Smartphone Implementation
A Smartphone is a powerful thing. I currently use mine to write some of this blog article. My phone is also used to run a very profitable Affiliate Marketing account on X. I also use it to resell Lego on Amazon.
The smartphone is a very powerful tool and I use it to earn myself multiple income streams.
A lot of income streams and side hustles require either start-up money or a lot of experience and time, however, if you are looking for an easy side hustle then the easiest one of them all is using my smartphone to do the very thing it was designed to do and that is to connect with people.
You can do all of this from the comfort of your own home and the best thing is you can get paid to text!!
Yes, you heard me correctly you can get paid to text. Sounds too simple right? well, it is that simple and throughout this article, I am going to show you how to use your phone from home and send texts and get paid to do it.
There are several ways to get paid to text and you can do one, none or all of them if you wish.
Some work better than others and it may be that you need to experiment to see which ones suit you best.
They all work by just using your phone to text though and what could be easier than that right?
Get Paid To Text | Text For Cash Apps
Text for cash apps is exactly what their name suggests. you get paid to text essentially.
Now a word of warning before we delve into some of the best text for cash apps. None of these will make you rich. You will be better off getting a small evening job.
However, if you wish to make a few quid by just sitting in your living room and not doing much at all then you can at least make a little money.
You will get paid for just receiving text messages.
McMoney:
Mcmoney is one of the more popular text-for-cash apps out there at the moment. It is only currently available for Android phones.
Every time you get a Mcmoney text you earn cash it’s that simple.
You may only receive one text every other day. Some days you could receive way more it all depends on your location and the demand for mobile testing in your area.
A little bit of potluck I’m afraid.
Mcmoney pays around 0.5 pence per message and you could receive a message every 2 days or so. The payment threshold is £5 and they have a pretty good referral program to help boost your earnings.
Money SMS App:
The Money SMS App is exactly as it sounds. An app that allows you to earn money simply from receiving text messages.
They pay around 0.02 euros per message and you can expect to get one every day. As you can see the earnings are not huge. You can do a bit better if you use more than one of these sites daily.
Money SMS App also like Mcmoney has a referral app that can help you to boost your earnings.
SMS Profit:
Sms Profit pay around 0.2 pence per message and you should generally receive one every 24 hours. Cash-out is achieved when you reach £2. Payment is by Paypal.
Getting Paid To Answer Text Messages:
Now all of the above doesn’t exactly pay a king’s ransom however if you sign up for all of them it can start to add up.
If you want to earn more then you can get paid to answer text messages. This will generally pay you a lot more money.
Just Answer:
Just answer is an American company but they will accept sign-ups from the UK as well.
The premise is a bit like Quora. People will post questions about certain topics such as plumbing, building, mechanics etc. If you happen to be in that specific trade you can log on through your phone, browse the questions and then answer them to the best of your abilities.
Payment is monthly and is paid via Paypal. Payment all depends on how many questions you answer.
Pin For Future Reference:
1Q:
1Q is a market research company that will text you short surveys to take.
All you have to do when you receive a text is to answer what is usually a multiple-choice type survey which doesn’t take that long to do.
They pay around $0.25 per message answered. The money is paid almost instantly to your Paypal account. I only got a couple of messages per week it is so quick and easy to do that you sort of forget about it and the money soon adds up.
Fibler:
Fibler is another app that will ask for help from people with expertise in certain areas.
If you happen to have knowledge in a certain trade then you can earn money by answering people’s questions.
You are going to have to provide proof of your credentials in a certain area.
Once you have your professional profile on Fibler people can then contact you with specific questions for which you can set your own fees.
Get Paid To Text Chat:
Now, this is a little risque and not something I have ever done or know anyone that has done it but it is a good way to earn a good bit of money if you don’t mind being a bit flirtatious.
Adult text chat is a little risque but if you are not the bashful type and don’t have any problem with earning your money this way then it might just suit you.
If you are over 18 then here are some of the companies that are looking for adult text chat operators.
- Operador Chat
- AdultChatJob
- Texkings
- Cloudworkers
All adult text chat companies allow for complete anonymity so you don’t need to worry about your real name or address and personal details being discovered.
Most of the time you will be playing a role so you don’t have to be your normal self when messaging.
You get paid per message so the quicker you can reply to messages the more money you can earn.
This kind of way to get paid to text works for both women and men. Men don’t feel excluded you too could do adult text work but just bear in mind if you are easily offended it might not be for you.
Get Paid To Text
So when it comes to getting paid to text what sort of money can you earn? Well as you can see from many of the above ways of earning while sending and or receiving texts it is not going to have you scrambling to the estate agents to look at new properties to buy.
In fact, it won’t earn you enough to even quit your job. But here at Themoneymonk, it’s all about the little things we can do to save and earn money.
When you add them all together it can be pretty lucrative. I currently have about 6 side hustles on the go at the same time. Not a single one is paying me the same as my job however when you add them all up it is a pretty good side income to be earned.
Summary:
Most of these paid-to-text ideas require next to zero effort. Although only paying a few pennies it all adds up and you could possibly make an extra £5-10 per month.
If you add in answering text messages that need your expertise in a specific area then that could bring in a bit more. Perhaps £20-30 per month.
For minimal effort, this does bring in a little bit of profit each month and would be a shame to miss out on it.
The adult text chat will bring you in the most money and although I can’t give you specific amounts think along with the terms of it being a part-time job, Maybe a few hundred pounds per month.
Like I said none of this will make you rich. However when you don’t even have to leave the house to achieve this extra income it does seem worth it to give it a go.
If you want to get paid to text then I would certainly give one or more of the above companies a go and see how you get on.
